Bigger Boat Radio Episode #22: The Saga Begins

It’s been a while

When I got a new desktop a few years ago, I somehow misplaced all the MP3s I’d ripped from my record collection. I was bummed out I’d lost all that work I did but Spotify was around so I didn’t lose too much sleep over it.

Fast forward and I’ve finally reached the point of realizing that Spotify is evil and physical media is where it’s at. After all, why have all these damned records if I’m not going to do anything with them, right?

With that in mind, I bought a new laptop and started the process of re-ripping my records to MP3s. It’s an extremely slow process but one I’m looking forward to. Some of these records haven’t been listened to in decades and that doesn’t sit right with me.

What follows is a sampling of the first 30 records I converted. I hope you enjoy it because there is much, MUCH more to come.

p.s. I’ve removed all the old episodes from the site. You can probably still find them on ARCHIVE.ORG, but I figured since I was starting fresh, I might as well go whole-hog.
